Last year, Pierre Engvall scored 15 goals for his Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL.

Now the Swede is on his way to a new personal best in terms of number of hits.

During the night of Saturday, the 26-year-old scored the 2-0 goal away against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

After a pass from Morgan Rielly, Engvall was able to score his eleventh goal of the season.

Otherwise, a lot came to be about Ilya Samsonov and John Tavares.

The former kept a clean sheet and made a total of 30 saves.

At the same time, Tavares became the hero of the match with his two goals, when Toronto eventually won 3–0.

Toronto's William Nylander was the Swede who got the most playing time in the match.
