The Swedish figure skater Nils van der Poel excelled at the 2022 Olympics. He took gold in the 5,000 meters and was also superior in the 10,000 meters where he broke a new world record.
On Monday evening, Trollhättansonen was awarded the Male Athlete of the Year award at the Sports Gala.
