Hours after confirming his non-continuation at the head of the Spanish team, Luis Enrique has manifested.

He has done so through his profiles on social networks, with a letter in which, on his behalf and that of all the members of his team, he has shown his utmost gratitude to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), from the president, Luis Rubiales, to the rest of the workers.

"It all started four years ago and how quickly time has passed," the letter begins.

"I can only be super grateful to those who signed me twice (President Rubiales and Sports Director Molina). To all the RFEF employees with whom we share experiences of all kinds."

Secondly, the Asturian coach addresses the players, thanking them for their behavior and blind confidence in the style so marked that the senior team has had under his command.

"Of course, to the players, who have been exemplary in their behavior and faithful to the idea raised. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more."

This gratitude is also extended to the entire team that has been at the side of the squad and the coaching staff (physiotherapists, nutritionists, kit men, doctors...), who, as he points out, "have worked tirelessly" to help them in everything they they have needed

He also had some parting words for the fans, showing gratitude for their unconditional support, "especially in the most delicate moments."

Luis Enrique closes his farewell letter with a small reflection: "What the team needs is SUPPORT in all its meaning so that Luis de la Fuente achieves everything he sets his mind to," he concludes, emphasizing that support.
