Gold loses 3 dollars as the dollar rises

Global gold prices fell during today's trading, losing more than $3, in conjunction with the rise of the US dollar.

Gold futures for February 2023 delivery fell by 0.2%, equivalent to $3.65, to $1,794.35 an ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver fell by 0.63% to $22.77 an ounce, while palladium rose 0.26% to $1855.28, and platinum increased by 0.03% to $1012.35.
