Mohamed Al-Sharqi meets with the heads of chess federations and praises the results of the World Championship
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received, at Rumaila Palace in Fujairah, President of the International Chess Problem Solving Federation, Harry Vogelkis, and the heads of chess federations, on the sidelines of the conclusion of the World Chess Problem Solving Championship, which was held under the auspices of His Highness in the emirate.
His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, welcomed the guests, praising their efforts, and the work of the organizing committee of the tournament by hosting the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club, in promoting the activity of mental sports, noting His Highness the position of the Emirate of Fujairah in organizing international competitions and attracting them from all over the Arab region and the world.
His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the championships hosted by the Emirate of Fujairah, in a way that serves the vision of the UAE and its global trends in this sector.
The heads of the chess federations extended their thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for the reception, and his interest in all sports, especially intellectual ones.
The meeting was attended by Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Dr. Abdullah Al Barakat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club.
