Tinnerholm returns to MFF: "A proven winner's skull"

He came to Malmö from Åtvidaberg in 2014 and after three SM golds in four seasons, Anton Tinnerholm felt it was time to try his wings abroad.

In January 2018, he signed for MLS team New York City FC, where he quickly became a crowd favorite.

But now he chooses to return home to Sweden again.

On Monday, he signed a four-year contract with MFF.

- I have had five great years in New York, but it was a very good opportunity to come home.

When Malmö calls, you answer.

Being able to come home to this and go out and feel the grass makes you really want to just go out and play straight away, he says to Malmö FF's website.

MFF's sports director Daniel Andersson:

With his past in Malmö FF, Anton knows the association and has shown in the past that he can perform in our environment.
