With a gold, a silver and a bronze at the Olympics in Beijing last winter, Jonna Sundling was one of the top Swedish athletes this past ski season.

But when the new season premieres in Bruksvallarna this coming weekend, the Umeå-born 27-year-old will not be there due to a persistent cold.

- She had to break our last camp, but feels better now and has started light training.

But she won't be ready to compete at the weekend, says national team coach Stefan Thomson on Viaplay Winter's Instagram account.

However, Viaplay writes that the hope is that Sundling can be at the World Cup premiere in Finnish Ruka on November 25-27.
