Can you even imagine that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry would be denied a spot on a modern-day "Dream Team"?

In the documentary "Dream Team", which can be seen on SVT Play, basketball experts believe that the Olympic dunk by Isiah Thomas in 1992 corresponds to a dunk by Curry in the present day.

Thomas was a celebrated point guard for the Detroit Pistons from 1981-1994 and one of the NBA's all-time greats.

If we compare Isiah Thomas and Stephen Curry's statistics during the first five years in the NBA, we see that "Steph" did very well.

But if you look at Thomas' numbers, it's like “WOW, we didn't know this happened before.

Can you imagine a Dream Team without Stephen Curry?”

says former NBA player John Salley in the documentary.

Jordan and Thomas' frosty relationship was hardly improved by the infamous rivalry between their club teams the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons.

A lot of people think that because Jordan hated Thomas, and he really hated him, he made sure it was a poke.

But what we know for sure is that there was no sporting basis for the poke, says author Marc Lamont Hill.

Michael Jordan himself has said that he never gave an ultimatum and that everything was "blown up" to unreasonable proportions.
