Shooter Yahya Al Muhairi was crowned champion of the sixth edition of the “Turab” pit shooting championship, which was organized by the Emirates Shooting Federation over the past two days in the fields of Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.

The tournament represents the third and penultimate evaluation of the national team shooters to decide the classification of shooters according to the results achieved by each shooter for the best results of three of the four tournaments, as the names have not been decided so far because no shooter has achieved the standard set by the technical committee, which is 118 according to.

The golden shots decided the shooters’ ranking after the five rounds, which witnessed fierce competition between six shooters, especially the leading duo, as Yahya Al Muhairi and Saif Al Shamsi were equal in score of 116 points, and Mishaal Al Bannai and Ahmed Al Hammadi were also equal in score of 112 points.

After disengagement, Yahya Al Muhairi came in first place and won the championship gold, Saif Al Shamsi came in second place and won the silver medal, while the bronze medal went to Mishaal Al Bannai.
