Professional baseball pitcher Naoki Miyanishi of Nippon-Ham has negotiated a contract with the team, and both are estimated to have signed a contract for the next season with an annual salary of 50 million yen, which is 200 million yen down, and a fee-for-service payment.

Pitcher Miyanishi expressed his determination for the next season, saying, "I want to spend the rest of my baseball life decisively."

Pitcher Miyanishi, who is 37 years old in his 15th year as a professional, was active as the center of the middleman until last season, and in May this year, he achieved a total of 800 pitches, becoming the eighth person in history.

However, he has not been in good form this season and ended up pitching in 24 games, ending his 14-year record of pitching more than 50 games.

He went 0-3 with 7 holds and an ERA of 5.66 before undergoing surgery on his left elbow in September to finish the season.

Pitcher Miyanishi held contract negotiations at the team office in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo on the 11th, and signed a contract for the next season with an estimated annual salary of 50 million yen and a piece rate payment.

He has an estimated annual salary of 250 million yen this season, a significant reduction that exceeds the reduction limit.

Pitcher Miyanishi said, "I only feel that I betrayed the expectations of the fans. I had surgery for the next season, so I want to spend the rest of my baseball life boldly."
