Börje Salming and family now confirm that they will attend the Times Hockey Gala on November 17, the gala where Swedish ice hockey celebrates 100 years and all of Sweden's greatest hockey profiles of all time are celebrated and praised.
- Börje is one of the very biggest we've had in Swedish ice hockey and has a chance to win several of the prizes that are awarded.
It will be a nice and extremely memorable evening, we are very happy about this announcement from the Salming family, says Marcus Törngren SVT Sport, executive producer for the gala.
On November 17, Swedish hockey takes over the Aviciii Arena for a gala evening with artists, supporters and guests in the stands as well as 900 specially invited guests.
The biggest in Swedish hockey are in place.
- I can't reveal names yet, it's secret, but I can promise that in addition to Börje Salming, our biggest hockey profiles will also be present at the gala, says Marcus Törngren.
A number of prizes are awarded at the gala.
A jury has appointed award winners as goalkeeper of the times, back and forward and player of the times.
The SVT Sports audience also votes for their favorite and designates the Moment of the Times and the All Star Five of the Times.
