Al Wahda continued its series of victories, and achieved an important victory today outside its bases at the expense of Al Jazira in the Abu Dhabi derby, with a goal without a response, in the tenth round of the ADNOC Professional League.

The "Honors" owe this seventh successive victory to its Brazilian top scorer Pedro, who scored the only goal of the match in the 69th minute, to raise his team's tally to 22 points, and share the lead with Al-Ahly youth, but the latter is ahead of direct confrontations.

The match was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, President of Al Jazira Club, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al Wahda Club.

The audience was about 20,000 fans.

Al-Wahda imposed its style on the events of the first half, as it was the most active and dangerous on the goal, amid an unjustified retreat from the Al-Jazira players, who had no effective offensive presence, except for a single shot from Ali Mabkhout that slightly crossed the crossbar.

Al-Wahda started the confrontation with an offensive activity that was clear, and Ismail Matar on two occasions almost strengthened his team's advantage for a goal, but to no avail.

Bedor gave his team excessively at the level of the result, when he was singled out by goalkeeper Ali Khaseef, but the latter shone and cleared the ball to keep a clean sheet.

The danger of the unit appeared more at the end of the first half, and with it, the Portuguese Adrian missed another opportunity to score while he was a few steps away from the goal, but he shot in the hands of the goalkeeper.

In the second half, Al-Jazira tried to enter the atmosphere of the match, and regained control of the center of the field in the first ten minutes, without a threat to Mohammed Al Shamsi's goal.

Al-Wahda's absence from the match did not last long, so the danger of the visiting team appeared, with a powerful shot played by Pedro, from the edge of the box, and Ali Khaseef removed it with his fingertips to a corner kick.

Ali Mabkhout refused to score one of the easiest chances of the meeting, when he got a cross without being observed and the goal was wide open, but he put the ball next to the left post.

The response came harsh from the unit, specifically through Pedro, who took advantage of Salem Rashid's error, and was unique in the goal, to put the ball over the goalkeeper.
