The 45-year-old NFL phenomenon Tom Brady has set another record in the American League of American Football. The one-yard pass to Cade Otton with just nine seconds left in the game against the Los Angeles Rams gave Tampa Bay the 16-13 victory and Brady's career passing yardage record of 100,000. That equates to 91,440 yards.
But most important for the quarterback was the victory, the team's first after three straight losses.
It was the first time since 2002 that Brady had lost three games in a row.
- The only thing that counts is the victory.
We needed it, and we got it, Brady said.
Tom Brady announced last winter that his 22-year NFL career was over, but relented and signed for one more season with Tampa Bay.
