Dilar Kisikyol from Hamburg and Nina Meinke from Berlin ensured a successful premiere of the new Hamburg boxing stable P2M and secured world championship titles in each case.
The 30-year-old Kisikyol dominated the fight for the WIBF world championship belt in the lightweight Eva Habermayer (36) over 10 rounds at will on Saturday, the three judges evaluated the duel with 100:90 each.
"I'm so happy.
My dream has come true,” said Kisikyol, who remained undefeated in her eight professional fights.
Nina Meinke had to overcome much more resistance in the featherweight division against Edith Matthysse (42) from Argentina.
At first, the 29-year-old clearly determined what was happening with fast and hard punch combinations.
After that, the South American had some strong moments.
In the end, the verdict was 97:93, 98:92 and 99:91.
“My opponent was the expected tough one.
However, I was never struck down.
Now I'm going to celebrate," said Meinke, who now has 15 wins and three defeats.
Peter Kadiru on shaky legs
Local hero Peter Kadiru wanted to have a successful dress rehearsal with a view to a European Championship fight, but his opponent Marcus Aumeda from Argentina had something against it.
After a few seconds, a hard right hand hit Kadiru, who went down.

“Boxing is a matter of the mind.
Peter can come back stronger from the defeat.
We will build it up again," said Kadiru's manager Bernd Bönte.
Kadiru's coach Christian Morales, on the other hand, admitted: "The fight for the European Championship is a long way off."
