Sweden is ready for the quarter-finals of the World Cup - and you can't directly claim that they had to behave to get there.

19-4 against Germany in Saturday's opening round was followed up on Sunday with a convincing 11-2 victory against Latvia.

- Nice to be in the game again, this tournament is getting tougher and tougher with every fight that goes by and we will grow with it.

I think we're doing just fine today, there's a bit too much counter-attacking on counter-attacking at times, but it's a Latvian team that has gotten better and better every year, so 11-2 is absolutely no guarantee against a team like this these days, says the team captain Robin Nilsberth who was back in the lineup after missing the premiere due to an injury.

What is it that hurts then?

- Age.

No, but it's like always, it's a season that's been a while and has been intense, there's a bit of feeling here and there and we have to stress the squad in the right way, but it felt great today.

Tomorrow, the Czech Republic awaits in the series final.

- A young and tough team that gets better and better every year, they have had a generational change, they were a bit tired a few years ago it seemed, but now new youthful enthusiasm has come in.

It will be fun to see them, but it's easy to talk about teams too, there's also performance to be had and we'll see if they rise to the level required, but they beat Switzerland last WC so they're a team to be reckoned with, says Nilsberth.
