Hanna Lundberg missed both the WC and EC this summer due to injury.

When she made a championship comeback at the JVM in Portugal, it was a success.

Today she finished the weekend by winning the long distance by 2 minutes and 59 seconds margin down to Finland's Eeva Liina Ojanaho.

This despite the fact that she made an unsuccessful choice of path.

- I think of last summer when I ran in water.

I came here really wanting to succeed.

I couldn't even dream of this - and so it happens, says Lundberg in a press release.

In addition to Lundberg, Jesper Johansson, Edvin Nilsson and Noel Braun took gold in the men's relay.

Nilsson took silver in the middle distance and Braun gold in the long distance.
