Blåvitt ended the Allsvenskan season with a 4–1 victory away to IFK Värnamo.

One of the scorers was Marcus Berg.

However, the star came into focus for another reason.

Held controversial flag

After the game, as the team celebrated the victory in front of the fans, the striker stood holding an ACAB flag - the controversial acronym for "all cops are bastards".

The 36-year-old believes that everything is a mistake.

- A supporter ran forward in the celebration and gave it to me.

I didn't know what the message was.

I did it in good faith, he says to Sportbladet.

"Takes a strong distance"

Club director Håkan Mild:

- The picture is not good.

We strongly distance ourselves from that message.

Marcus Berg and our players like to pay tribute to our fans who have supported us all season, but certainly not like this, he tells the newspaper.

- None of the players are behind this.

Sometimes it goes wrong.
