According to the press service of the Russian Football Union (RFU), the new agreement with the 53-year-old specialist is calculated until August 1, 2024.
Karpin has been leading the Russian national team since July 2021.
Under his leadership, the national team played eight matches, in which they scored six victories, drew once and suffered one defeat.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian team will play a friendly match with Uzbekistan on November 20.
