The star of the national cycling team, Ahmed Al-Mansoori, won the first stage of the “Green March Tour”, which is held in Morocco for a distance of 139 km, and Al Mansouri traveled it in 2:29.30 hours, with an average speed of 56.3 km.

The national team will participate in the tournament with a delegation of six players: Ahmed Al-Mansoori, Jaber Al-Mansoori, Ahmed Al-Marri, Muhammad Al-Mutaiwee, Saif Mayouf, Abdullah Al-Hammadi, and the team's administrator Hamad Al-Marzouqi.

Al-Mansouri succeeded in leading the team to reach the finish line, where he succeeded in taking the lead in the first stage, and came in second and third places from Morocco, Youssef Badado and Mounir Makhshoun, and more than 100 cyclists from 14 teams from different countries participate in the race.

For his part, the coach of the cycling team, Abdullah Sweidan, told "Emirates Today": "Al-Mansouri's victory is certainly an achievement, as it is the first Emirati victory in the history of the UAE teams' participation in Morocco, since 1985 in the Arab Youth Championship in Marrakesh, which is a natural result. Due to the large number of participations in which the national team is currently present and the successive achievements.”
