Professional baseball team Hanshin will start autumn training camp in Kochi prefecture from the 2nd under manager Shofu Okada. I was hopeful.

More than 30 people, including Yusuke Oyama and pitcher Masashi Ito, are participating in the autumn camp in Aki City, Kochi Prefecture for the first time in three years due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

On the first day, the 2nd, a welcome ceremony was held before practice began, and bouquets were presented to Director Okada and others.

Hanshin, who are aiming to win the league title for the first time in 18 years next season, are aiming to improve their defensive power under the second appointment of manager Okada. I checked it carefully.

Also, in the afternoon's individual practice, KUMAGAI Keiyu, OBATA Ryuhei, and TAKATERA Nozomu, who are aiming to become regulars between the second and shortstops, which is a particular focus of Coach Okada, were knocked out in the shortstop position.

Director Okada put on the gloves himself and showed examples of how to catch a grounder and how to move from catching to throwing.

After the first day of practice, Director Okada said, "I'm glad that we were able to start the next season in Aki City. I felt that the players were able to move more than I expected. Over the past three weeks, we've all been at the same level. I want to improve and see as many players grow as possible."

Hanshin Autumn Camp will be held until the 21st of this month.
