The defender of Paris SG and the France team Presnel Kimpembe forfeited the Juventus Turin-PSG match on Wednesday in the Champions League, due to "discomfort in the right Achilles tendon", three weeks before the World Cup 2022, announced the Parisian club on Tuesday.
The duration of the unavailability of the French defender has not been specified.
Kimpembe had returned to competition in recent days after seven weeks of absence due to a muscle injury to a thigh.
He is one of the important players of the France team for the World Cup which begins on November 20 in Qatar.
