It was also on Alexandersson's favorite long distance that Karolin Ohlsson took the initiative and sprinted away at the end and was five seconds ahead at the finish.

- I don't remember much, Alexandersson tells the Swedish Orienteering Association when she is asked to tell about her own race.

Alexandersson struggling with it early in the race when she misread and ran to fifth before third.

Soon the fight was about the final victory for a quartet that also included Lisa Risby and Sara Hagström, but in the end it was between Alexandersson and Ohlsson, who finished 1.36 after Alexandersson at the start of the chase over 12.9 km.

"Be so calm"

If Alexandersson was of few words, Ohlsson had no difficulty in putting the text out.

- When I come down to the control after the last long stretch, I meet Tove.

Then I thought: "I can take this".

I lay down on my back and went over to the last one.

I am very happy that I managed to win.

Not least because I was so calm when I saw the others today.

That I did my own race all the way, says Ohlsson after his fourth straight overall victory in the Swedish League.

In the men's class, Gustav Bergman won, who was drawn with a cold.

He went out with a 3.5 minute lead and won after a halting run 13 seconds ahead of Simon Imark.

- Glad it worked.

I haven't taken a running step in eight days and I didn't have a clip in my body, says Bergman, who decided to start this morning.
