The Bosnian player Miralem Pjanic revealed that he was not 100% ready to participate in the President's Cup final, explaining that he had consulted the medical staff of the Sharjah team and obtained the doctor's approval after making sure of his ability to play the match.

Pjanic said in a press statement: "I was injured in the Al-Wasl and Sharjah match, and the medical staff worked to prepare me for the final, and I am happy to participate in the match and the most important thing is that we won the title."

He added, "I must thank the players for the effort they made during the match, as it was difficult and strong for both teams, and I am happy that I won my first title with Sharjah, and I hope it will be the beginning of winning more titles during the current season."
