His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, received, at his palace in Rumaila, the President of the International Marine Sports Federation, Dr. Ravel Keoli, and members of the Executive Office of the Federation.

His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah welcomed the president and members of the federation, praising their role in serving the International Federation and supporting marine sports worldwide.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the details of the 95th General Assembly of the International Marine Sports Federation, and the accompanying activities and programmes, which will be held in the Emirate of Fujairah from 16 to 23 October, coinciding with the Federation's celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of its founding.

His Highness, the ruler of Fujairah, praised the efforts made by the International Marine Sports Federation and the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club in this sector, stressing the importance of hosting the federation’s meeting in Fujairah, and the added value it represents to the emirate’s history and career in the sports field, and its role in promoting the field Maritime activities, and achieving the state’s vision in this field globally.

The President of the International Marine Sports Federation thanked His Highness, the Ruler of Fujairah, for the warm reception, and his constant support for all kinds of sports.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, Mohammed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, and the Executive Director of the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club, Ahmed Ibrahim.
