The Assistant Director-General of the General Department of Visas at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khaled Al-Shammari, confirmed - today, Friday - that Muslim holders of the "Haya" card can perform Umrah and visit Medina.

He pointed out, in an intervention with the Saudi "Al-Ikhbariya" channel, today, Friday, that this visa is free of charge without fees, but mandatory medical insurance must be obtained from the visa platform.

He explained that the visa will be valid to enter the Kingdom starting from next month, that is, 10 days before the start of the World Cup, and until the final day of the tournament on December 18, 2022.

He pointed out that it is not required that the visa holder has entered the State of Qatar with a Haya card before that, and that the period of stay for the visa holder is two months ending on January 11, 2023.
