The former Barcelona driver joins Aston Martin as an ambassador to take charge of "communications, media, public relations, marketing, promotion, trade and general advice" of the British team.

The friendship between De la Rosa and Alonso, partners in numerous endurance karting competitions, will once again move to the professional field.

"I will base myself on my experience and knowledge to help the team grow and develop the momentum it has been acquiring for the 2023 World Cup, with special attention to the commercial and marketing aspects," added De la Rosa, convinced that the " potential is enormous" and that Alonso's arrival "will further strengthen the resources and determination to succeed".
