25 countries compete for the title of the world tour of "shore volleyball" in Dubai

The Organizing Committee approved the list of teams participating in the "Professional Beach Volleyball World Tour", hosted by Dubai for the first time in the region and organized by the International Volleyball Federation, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and in cooperation with the Volleyball Association, from 22 to 30 March, on Kite Beach.

192 male and female players representing 96 teams from 25 countries from all continents of the world will participate in the tournament, and they will play 266 matches over eight days, through two rounds. The other in the preliminary rounds that will be held on the first day of the tournament to determine the eight teams of men, and the same from women to participate in the final rounds, which includes 24 teams in each category.

Brazilian volleyball legend Gilberto Amauray D Godoy Filho, known as (Jiba), will provide free training for children and families over four days at the event site at Kite Beach Stadium with the aim of teaching the public how to play the international beach volleyball tournaments, and promoting the spread of the sport among all circles of society.

The tournament is an important addition to the list of international sporting events hosted by Dubai, which was preceded by the organization of international beach tournaments, most notably the Confederations Cup for beach soccer, Foot Foley, beach tennis, beach polo and others. It also supports the diversity in sports that the Dubai Sports Council is keen to host and organize on throughout the year, to meet the needs of all segments of society of different nationalities.
