A Portuguese referee leads the Al Ain and Al Wahda summit in the league

The Emirates Football Association announced in a press statement that a Portuguese referee team led by referee Artur Suarez Diaz will manage the sixth round of the ADNOC Professional League next Saturday between Al Ain and Al Wahda, which will be held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.

It is noteworthy that the Football Association announced last season the return of the foreign whistle to participate in the management of the league matches.

Portuguese referee Diaz is assisted by Rui Barbosa and Paulo Suarez, video referee Thiago Martinez, video assistant referee Mohamed Obeid, and fourth official is Issa Darwish.

The cost of the foreign refereeing team for the single match in the professional league is 170,000 dirhams.

According to the decision issued by the Football Association, each professional team has the right to use foreign referees in four matches instead of only two matches as it was last season.
