The “Pro League Cup” starts today in a new way

The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Football Cup, which is the new name of the Professional League Cup, kicks off today, after the sponsorship agreement agreement signed between the UAE Professional League and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank for three years.

The first-leg matches of the first round will start with the participation of 12 teams, while Al-Ain, the defending champion, and Al-Ahly, the runner-up, are waiting for the quarter-finals in order to enter the matches.

The matches will be held today and tomorrow, as today Dibba meets Al Jazeera at Dibba Stadium at 17:15, and at the same time, Bani Yas meets Sharjah at Baniyas Stadium, and the matches of the first day conclude with Al Wahda and Ittihad Kalba at Al Nahyan Stadium at 20:00

On the second day, the confrontations start at 17:15, with Ajman and Al Dhafra meeting at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, while Al Nasr and Al Bataeh meet at Al Maktoum Stadium at the same time, and the first round confrontations conclude with Khorfakkan and Al Wasl at Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Stadium at 20:00.

According to the tournament system, matches will be played in a knockout system with two home and away matches in all the first, eight, and semi-final matches, provided that the final is played in one match on a neutral stadium determined by the League.
