Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik had the first hot scoring chance of the match.

The Pole finished at Milan's penalty area line, but the shot went just wide of the right post of the Milan goal.

Soon after, Milan came close to taking the lead.

After a corner, the ball landed in front of Rafael Leão, who guided the ball into the post.

After about half an hour, Leão hit the post again, this time with a shot from distance.

In the extra time of the first half, the home team finally got a payoff.

Center back Fikayo Tomori intercepted a rebound, following a corner, to make it 1–0 for Milan.

Shortly after the break, in the 54th minute, Milan doubled the lead.

Spaniard Brahim Diaz received the ball in midfield, feinted, ran and then slotted in 2-0 from close range.

The Spaniard celebrated by climbing onto Leão's back.

Which made the San Siro crowd explode with joy.

2–0 was also the final result, which means that Milan is third in a limping table.

Juventus is in eighth place.
