An anecdotal event destined to quickly disappear into the oblivion of Ligue 1. According to RMC Sport, the LFP disciplinary committee has decided to turn a blind eye to the actions of Presnel Kimpembe, who got angry with Jérémie Pignard, referee of PSG-Metz.
A slight collision which was not mentioned in the referee's report on the match, making any sanction impossible.
On the other hand, there was indeed an error of judgment on the arbitration decision following the tackle of Kimpembe.
The latter would have deserved a second yellow and therefore a red, but the behavior of the defender did not challenge the refereeing body, surely less sensitive to the use of the word "wesh" than many resolutely too sensitive souls.
