It took 36 minutes into the match before the scoreline was broken.

Alexander Falsetas put in an elegant deep pass that set up Rasmus Wiedesheim-Paul in a free position.

However, he missed his first Allsvenskan goal, but on the return Amar Mushin pushed the ball in to make it 1–0 for Helsingborg.

The response came quickly for IFK Gothenburg.

In the 39th minute, Gustaf Norlin scored 1-1 from close range, after some fine work by Eman Markovic.

Bottom team Helsingborg shocked Blåvitt once again.

In stoppage time in the first half, Rasmus Wiedesheim-Paul cycled in 2–1 from a corner, a revenge in the match after the missed free kick.

Sent the goalkeeper up

At the end, IFK pressed and sent the goalkeeper up for a corner.

Then the visitors won the ball and were able to storm towards the goal, a goal that lacked a goalkeeper.

Wilhelm Loeper made it 3-1 in an open goal.

This was only the team's second victory away from home, also fourth overall, in this year's Allsvenskan.

Now Helsingborg moves up to the qualification spot and sends Degerfors down on the relegation pass.
