She started first in fencing and finished second in the ensuing swim, but lightly reversed in her final laser run, which combined shooting and track.



As a former long-distance runner, she took the lead on the first lap and then crossed the finish line first by widening the gap by hitting two or five shots within 10 seconds of four mid-race shots.
