• Assault Aubameyang suffers a robbery with violence in his house

  • Keys Why are soccer players so vulnerable to mafias?

The group of hooded men who stormed the home of Barcelona striker

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

in the early hours of last Monday acted with unusual violence.

Aubameyang was hit with the butt of a shotgun when he tried to resist the hooded men who entered his house in Castelldefels.

He ended up with a broken jaw.

His wife,

Alysha Behague

, was hit on the head in front of her children, who were also at the mansion.

Research sources say that the assailants managed to steal some 700,000 euros between cash and jewelry.

To this amount should be added the million and a half euros that were already stolen on July 17, although on that occasion Aubameyang and his family were not at home.

The African striker has only been in Barcelona for seven months, after leaving Arsenal and signing for the Barça club in the last winter market.

Aubameyang, held in a Barcelona hotel with his wife and children and to whom his club has given them psychological help after the robbery, continues to wait for his future at the Barça entity to be resolved.

The broken jaw will force him to stay out for about a month, so Chelsea, the main contender to buy the player's pass, now doubts the advisability of taking on the transfer operation.

Barça expects to receive around 20 million euros for the sale of Aubameyang.

The market closes this September 1.
