In order to avoid the giants USA and Canada in the quarter-finals, a group victory is required for Sweden, which will be a real challenge.

In the final group stage match, the Women's Crowns face the Czech Republic, who have been faultless during the opening three matches of the tournament with a goal difference of 18-2.

And the Czech striker consists of a well-known player to the Swedish audience.

Katerina Mrazova, everyday in Brynäs, has scored seven points in three games.

- She is someone to really watch out for.

Both in five-on-five games and power play, says Maria Rooth.

A problem for the Women's Crowns during the tournament has been the expulsions.

Sweden has won 13 second places and two five places.

Where many have also entered the offensive zone.

It is something Sweden must improve in order to defeat the Czech Republic, Rooth believes.

- Undoubtedly.

The Czech Republic has a well-functioning power play of 35% and has scored seven goals in power play.

It's a form of play they master very well.

So Sweden has to clean up its game.

They must not take so many expulsions.

Especially not the stupid expulsions in the attack zone.

They need to clean that up.

Want to see Söderberg in the box office

In the box, Ida Boman made a brilliant effort against Hungary, but Emma Söderberg stood the two previous matches.

For Rooth, the choice is easy for the match against the Czech Republic.

- Emma Söderberg, without a doubt.

She is the one with the most experience among the goalkeepers.

She has been playing just fine, maybe not at her absolute top level, but I think she has more to give.

She loves to compete in the tough matches.

Rooth also hopes that Sweden go into the match with the attitude that they are not favorites in advance.

- They have everything to win.

They got a free chance to the World Cup A and now have a chance to win group B. I think they should go back to square one with the defensive first, and take advantage of the chances and power play that are given.

And really let go, see it as an opportunity.

They have no demands on themselves, as I see it.
