The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Sky Sports have reported that Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian winger Anthony from Ajax Amsterdam.

The BBC indicated that the initial value of the deal was 80.75 million pounds ($94.74 million), in addition to 4.25 million bonuses and variables.

The 22-year-old is expected to undergo a medical examination within two days, before signing a 5-year contract with the option to extend for an additional year.

Anthony joined Ajax in February 2020 from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and played more than 80 matches with the Dutch team in all competitions, scoring 25 goals.

He made his first international match with Brazil in October 2021 during a 3-1 victory over Venezuela in the World Cup qualifiers.
