The Swedish 14-year-old's successful start: "I can hardly understand it"

In advance, much of the talk before the Skaftö Open was about Swedish stars Maja Stark and Linn Grant.

But it was Lisa Pettersson, 27, who opened the best.

She is six under par after the first lap and shares the lead with Finland's Elina Numenpää.

- I am very happy and very satisfied with the game, says Pettersson after the lap.

“Very good day”

Behind her, among others, is 14-year-old Havanna Torstensson.

She opened with 65 strokes and is two behind the leaders.

- It was a good day, says Torstensson.

She enjoys the experience and is impressed by the Swedish stars.

- Linn (Grant) and Maja (Stark) have always been idols for me.

They are Swedish stars and everyone my age has them as idols.

They give us a lot of inspiration.

Being able to compete against them this week is so cool.

I can hardly understand it.

Stark also opened with 65 strokes and Grant opened with 67.
