In order to support children who challenge skateboarding, a class for elementary school students was held in Tokyo, inviting Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Toshi Nishiya.

Thirty elementary school students who had just started skateboarding participated in a classroom held in Adachi Ward, Tokyo.

The instructors were Ms. Nishiya, who won the gold medal in the women's street event at the Tokyo Olympics, and Ms. Sora Shirai, who participated in the men's street event. I showed them how to slide and taught them the basics.

At the end, when Nishiya and Shirai performed their tricks, the children were fascinated by Shirai's high jumps and Nishiya's tricks using steps.

A participating boy said, "Both of them kindly taught me how to skate. I want to imitate Shirai's high jumps."

Mr. Nishiya said, "I was happy that there were quite a few people who wanted to try skateboarding. It's scary when you try a new technique, but if you don't try it, it won't start, so I want you to enjoy it."

Also, Shirai said, "I want you to have fun with various people at various skateboard parks."
