Yamaguchi shook her opponent back and forth and left and right, making sharp crosses and straight shots at key points to set the pace and win the first game 21-12.



Yamaguchi won the second game with a score of 21 to 15 without allowing his opponent to counterattack, and won the game count 2 to 0 in straight sets to advance to the third round.



On the 24th, the third day of the tournament, the pair of Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino, who won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, won the bronze medal in the mixed doubles.



In the men's doubles, the pair of Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi, who won the gold medal in the previous tournament, will both be seeded in the second round.
