THE ESSENTIAL

  • The 4th stage of the Tour de France Women now links Troyes to Bar-sur-Aube (126.8 km).

  • On the program, a second part of the stage which promises to be spectacular with four white paths, with a cumulative length of 13 km, and five very difficult climbs.

  • The favorites, who are currently in less than two minutes, should take the opportunity to attack and the Dutch Marianne Vos will have a lot to do to keep her yellow jersey.

  • The first Frenchwoman in the general classification, Juliette Labous (8th at 1'05), has a good shot to play today.

: So what are the white paths?

If you watch the Strade bianche every March in Italy, they hold no secrets for you.

Otherwise, well these are passages in the middle of the vines, covered with chalk (and often very steep).

It will give a lot of dust, so lack of visibility, risk of punctures, etc.

You'll see, it's going to put on quite a show (and blow up the race).

66km

: Laura Asencio is also French, that makes us two tricolor representatives at the front.

Tut tut!

67km: Update on the race

As we approach the first sector of the white paths, three runners escape > Laura Asencio, Coralie Demey and Valérie Demey (no relation, the first is French, the second is Belgian).

They have a nice mattress 2'30 in advance.

69km: Yoooo everyone, let's go!

10:31 am

: In the meantime, a little summary of yesterday's stage, if you want to get up to speed.

You're welcome.

Women's Tour de France: Denmark's Ludwig wins as a puncher in Epernay during the 3rd stage

10:30 a.m.: The stakes of the race

Good news, the sports department of 20 Minutes has recovered numbers that will be described as honorable in the middle of the week.

We are therefore able to embark on the lives of the Women's Tour!

A very nice way to prolong the pleasure of the Grande Boucle for these gentlemen, from whom it is difficult to come down.

So place this Wednesday at the 4th stage of the “Tour de France Women with Zwift”, of its full name.

Yesterday was a festival on the road to Epernay, with breaks in all directions from the Mutigny coast and the victory of Danish champion Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig.

It should still be sent today with daunting white paths and a route that could not be more hilly.

Yum yum.
