The European tour DP World Tour shut down and fined players who joined the LIV tour for approximately SEK 1.2 million.

Sports Resolutions, a conflict resolution organization in sports, has now stepped in and temporarily lifted the suspension, Sky Sports announces.

It opens for stars Ian Poulter, Justin Harding and Adrian Otaegui to play the Scottish Open this week.

"I just want to say that I am disappointed with the result but will respect the decision," said Keith Pelley, chairman of the DP World Tour.

"Temporary only"

The decision is only temporary and only includes the Scottish Open.

The golfers are still suspended for the Barbasol Championship and Barracuda Championship pending a new decision on whether the sanctions were justified.

"However, it is important to remember, the decision is only temporary," said Pelley.
