[Explanation] As the first batch of pilot cities for football reform in China and the first batch of key cities for national football development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Chengdu, Sichuan holds nearly 30,000 football matches every year.

This western football town has not only contributed to Chinese football, a high-frequency word still used in the stadium, but also attracted coaches from Portugal, Spain, Japan and other countries and regions to teach here.

[Explanation] On July 17, Keisuke Amano, a Japanese football coach with 25 years of coaching experience, came to the Luyin Stadium of the Wenjiang Training Base of the Chengdu Football Association.

After watching the training of the players present, Keisuke Amano immediately stepped forward to give guidance to the players and coaches.

In Keisuke Amano's view, although China has a large "grassroots football population" and the technical level of youth football is good, its long-term development is constrained to a certain extent by the inherent cognition of football's "instruction".

(Chengdu) Kindergartens and primary schools have a large "grassroots football population", and they have also held many competitions and activities. I feel that their football skills are also very good.

Football is not just a sport that moves according to the coach's instructions and orders, so on the basis of fully understanding these, they must be linked from popularization to cultivation to great development.

[Explanation] As an overseas dispatched coach, Keisuke Amano's main task is to cultivate youth training, improve the level and ability of coaches, and set up effective training plans and structures according to the actual situation.

After coming to Chengdu to coach for more than a year, Keisuke Amano said bluntly that both players and coaches have gained a lot.

Now through continuous and specific practice, the coach's thinking has changed, and the children have gradually changed.

These changes have also changed the comprehensive perception of football by parents and all walks of life.

In this way, in the ideal state, future development will also change accordingly.

As far as the current stage is concerned, it is still in the second stage, which is the stage of changing the coach's thinking.

Then slowly change the players' understanding of football.

[Commentary] Together with Keisuke Amano, they passed the selection and assessment of the Japanese Football Association, and coach Okuyoshi Shi came to Chengdu to coach the youth training.

In Ao Yueshi's view, China's sports environment is very good, and the large base of "grassroots football population" has laid the foundation for the development of youth training and even Chinese football.

As far as I know, the sports environment for Chinese students is very good.

Not just football, for example, there are a lot of sports infrastructure in the park, I think these are very good.

I think whether it is kindergartens or schools, the infrastructure and equipment are sufficient, and there is nothing to fault.

[Explanation] Li Bing, who is the technical director of the Chengdu Football Association, will have technical exchanges with foreign coaches in Chengdu every week.

The famous football legend, who was the coach of the Chinese National Youth League, admitted that the current Chinese football youth training system has not been fully established. In addition to the uneven level of youth training coaches, more importantly, the youth competition system needs to be improved.

[Concurrent] Li Bing, Technical Director of Chengdu Football Association

I don't think there is a difference in football culture, because to be honest, Japan's youth training should be better in Asia or even in the world.

So it must be helpful for us to have a Japanese coach.

Introduce other people's ideas, and in the end, how to combine the actual situation of our country to explore a path that our football should develop.

For example, the Ministry of Education and the Chinese Football Association are now discussing some cooperation, which will be launched soon. It seems that the Chinese campus football league should be launched soon.

In fact, this is also a way to improve, and just now we talked about the core of the youth system. In fact, the most important thing is education and football. If they can be combined well, Chinese football can build a system and organize competitions. Build it out.

[Explanation] In the opinion of Gu Jianming, executive committee member of the Chinese Football Association and chairman of the Chengdu Football Association, competitive sports are not the whole of football. Besides professional events, there is a broader mass of football, which is also the foundation of football development.

[Concurrent] Gu Jianming, Executive Committee Member of the Chinese Football Association and Chairman of the Chengdu Football Association

After so many years of development, nearly 30,000 matches have been played by the Chengdu Football Association, involving the participation of hundreds of thousands of people.

But from another point of view, you may think that nearly 30,000 games are a lot, but compared with developed football countries, the gap is far from it.

Therefore, we are (and) in the future, that is, to make the competition system of the city league as good as possible to cover all the people who want to participate in football activities.

In other words, let the old, middle and young children, as long as you live in this city, you have this right, and have this kind of competition platform to enjoy football, because football does not play, if you do not participate in this competition, it will lose the fun of it.
