A few years ago, Suto was constantly a winner in competitions for children under six or seven years.

Although she still performs well, the winners have not been.

During this weekend's competition with peers in the USA, she finished in 17th place.

Nevertheless, she was clearly the one who caught the most attention.

Interviews would be done and lots of photos would be taken.

- I want to be a legendary professional golfer.

I will invest in it, she says.

Value of over five million per year

Suto now has eleven sponsorship contracts and when she travels home to Japan, a twelfth sponsor is waiting to sign a contract.

Some agreements are written over ten years and in total the agreements have a value of about 500,000 dollars annually, corresponding to almost 5,200,000 kronor.

In addition, she is often seen on TV in the golf-mad country that has two female masters winners in recent years (Hinako Shibuno won the British Open 2019 and Hideki Matsuyama won The Masters 2021).

She has her parents to thank for that.

- Dad and mom, not me, have been out and found sponsors.

Then it has also happened that people have seen me on TV when I play golf, and then heard from me and said: "I want this girl".
