Ancelotti is satisfied with the current Real Madrid squad, and Hazard is in a new position

Real Madrid's Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his satisfaction with the current squad of the La Liga and European Champions League champions, ruling out more signings this summer.

Real had previously included German defender Antonio Rudiger free of charge as a result of reaching the end of his contract with Chelsea, and French midfielder Aurelian Chuamini from Monaco in a deal estimated at 80 million euros.

It seems that these two contracts are sufficient for Ancelotti, according to what he said Thursday during a press conference, in preparation for the team's travel to the United States for a friendly tour, which is brought together by local rivals Barcelona, Mexican Club America and Italian Juventus.

Ancelotti believed that his team did not need more players despite the departure of Serbian Luka Jovic, Brazilian Marcelo, Welshman Gareth Bale and Isco, saying, "I have nothing to talk about regarding contracts, I have already said that everything is over."

He continued, "We will not sign anyone. We are in a good position where we are now," praising at the same time Rüdiger and Chuamini "the two new contracts that bring great quality to the team," noting that "in their positions, they are the best that can be obtained in the transfer market. Rudiger is a great centre-back and also Tchwamini. He is young and has a lot of potential."

"We are taking advantage of this tour (in the United States) in order to help them adapt to the team," he noted.

The Italian coach revealed that he is ready to try Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard in the attacking position when the French top scorer Karim Benzema needs a rest, adding, "We have a lot of options in this position. Benzema is the first choice, but we must realize that it will be a strange season, different, with The World Cup (Qatar 2022 at the end of the year) is in the middle of it, and therefore we have to look at other options (to rest Benzema)."

And he added, "My idea is that we see Eden in this position. Given the quality and capabilities of Hazard, it might be good for us to test him there (at the spearhead position). The same is true for (Marco) Asensio."

Real begins its preparations for the season with a heavy-caliber confrontation on July 24 against its rival Barcelona in Las Vegas before meeting Club America four days later in San Francisco, and then Juventus on the 31st of it in Los Angeles.

Although the match is a pre-season friendly, Ancelotti admitted that "it is never friendly against Barcelona. To play them early in the season is also good. We will both strive to win the game here and put in a beautiful display, as is always the case in matches between Real Madrid." and Barcelona."
