The Board of Directors of the Football Association approved the annual circular of the Players Status and Transfers Committee for the 2022-2023 sports season, and the circular specified that the period for submitting re-registration statements for all teams will be from today until August 11 next.

The annual circular of the Players Status and Transfers Committee specified the registration periods for professional and amateur players for the first team, and for the players of the two youth teams under 21 years of age (the UAE Professional League, and the competitions organized by the Federation), so that the first “summer” period will be from July 13 to October 4, while it is held The second “winter” period is from January 11 to February 8, 2023, and the period from September 29 to October 5, 2022, is set for the registration of players internally only, provided that the transfer abroad continues.

A press statement said: "The annual circular witnessed an increase in the number of replacements for injured players for two players, the addition of a new mechanism to approve medical examinations from outside the country, and the amendment of medical forms to facilitate them for clubs."

The annual circular of the Player Status and Transfer Committee for the new season restricted the number of loans according to the FIFA amendments, which stipulated that the club may loan a maximum of three professional players only from one club, and borrow three professional players from one club, and the club may loan eight players A maximum of two professionals, and a maximum of eight players borrowed.
