He rode flawlessly in the jump and beat runner-up Bernardo Alves, in better time, by just 14 hundredths.

The victory was worth 65,000 euros, corresponding to almost 700,000 Swedish kronor.

Henrik von Eckermann, on King Edward, came seventh, last in the jump.
