Al-Ain is holding on to Guanka, but he is holed up in Plan B

Al Ain Football Club still hopes to convince the Saudi youth management to obtain the services of Argentine professional Christian Guanca after the distinguished level that the player presented last season, in which he contributed to crowning the "leader" with the double of the ADNOC Professional League and the League Cup.

Guanka's loan to Al Ain ended last month, at a time when there was a common desire between the "leader" and the player to renew the loan, but the youth administration rejected the offers and expressed its adherence to the player's return to the team's ranks directly.

Al-Ain coach, Ukrainian Sergey Rebrov, told the Ukrainian newspaper "Sport" that negotiations are underway between the club and the Argentine player to stay with the team, but if no agreement is reached, there will be an opportunity to sign another foreign professional.

It is reported that Guanca had expressed his desire to continue in the ranks of Al Ain, but the youth management refused the offer, which caused the player to make hot statements towards the club's management before he returned and apologized for them.

The player returned and made an official apology to the management of his Saudi club, and wrote through his official account on the social networking site “Instagram” a message addressed to the Al-Shabab club: “I apologize if my statements were received in an unclear manner. This post is to apologize also to Khaled Al-Baltan, president of the club
