Preparations are in full swing for the Diamond League competition in Oslo - or Bislett Games.

Sweden has got a taste of what it is like to be beaten by Norway on the football field after two losses in the Nations League game.

Now the question is whether there is a new Norwegian threat in the air as well?

It is about the Norwegian pole vaulters Sondre Guttormsen, 23, and Pål Haugen Lillefosse, 21, who are praised by Duplantis.

- They push each other and help each other to take the next step.

I like their situation.

There is no limit to how far they can go, says Armand "Mondo" Duplantis according to VG.

Beat the Norwegian record

The talents have had an impressive start to their careers.

In March, Guttormsen became university champion in the USA and has jumped over 5.82 meters, which was a new Norwegian record.

But only until Pål Haugen Lillefosse improved that record by one centimeter.

Something that seems to have caught Duplanti's attention - even though it is a good distance from Mondo's highest height of 6.20.

- They are in a good situation.

They have respect for each other, and I do not know if there are any who want to beat each other as much as they do, says Duplantis.

The Diamond League gala in Oslo starts on Thursday 16 June.
