It was in the Champions League final at the end of August 2020 that Fridolina Rolfö suffered a concussion after a nod duel.

An injury that was initially described as mild, but which kept her on the sidelines for two months.

The return was mentally tougher than expected.

- I was worried, I did not go into many duels.

I can still feel that today.

If it is not directly decisive, then there are some duels that I avoid, she says and continues.

"My life is worth so much more"

- It's not something I talk so much about.

It may not be so popular, you always want to win and get into all the duels.

But I feel that my life is worth so much more than a football match if it is not super important.

I choose the situations I go into, even though it has gotten better over time and I'm not as afraid of duels.

How dark was it when you had it worst?

- There and then… When you feel so bad, you get a little depressed.

I am normally a person who is very active, going from there to not being able to do anything at all was hard ...

- It was as long as I lay at home on my bed and stared at the ceiling and could not make breakfast for myself.
