Häcken went on the season's first loss last time when they unexpectedly fell against Eskilstuna at home.

Today they had the opportunity to bounce back directly in the meeting with Vittsjö.

However, that did not happen.

Instead, last year's runners-up went on the second straight loss when they fell 3-2.

Vittsjö's defender Sandra Adolfsson gave the guests the lead halfway into the first half after a corner variant.

- It was obviously fun to score goals.

We changed the tactics a bit before this match and it gave results, the goal scorer told Viaplay during the break.

Häcken's Mille Gejl Jensen then equalized before the first half was over, but Vittsjö would regain control.

Dream goal by Rantala

Just over a quarter into the second half, Vittsjö's Jutta Rantala stood for a real dream goal.

The Finnish national team striker got the ball in the penalty area and finished the crossbar to 2-1.

It followed attacking colleague Clara Markstedt up to make it 3-1 on a nod a quarter of an hour later.

Marika Bergman Lundin admittedly reduced shortly afterwards, but Häcken did not come any closer than that today.

Thus, they went on the second straight loss and have now only won one of the last five matches in the damallsvenskan.

With the victory, Vittsjö goes up to the same points as Häcken.
